Paul Sinha fits neatly into
two comedy stereotypes, he's fat and Asian .... he also fits into a third, he's
funny! Paul is spearheading a new breed of Asian comics, trying to prove there
really is life after Goodness Gracious Me.
He was runner up in this
years' Hackney Empire New Act of the Year award, and already has a number of
TV under his belt, including The Stand Up Show (BBC1), and Gas (Ch4). He has
performed all over the UK, and in parts of Europe, and will be performing at
all the major comedy venues in the UK this year, and will also be on stage at
a number of Asian and Black comedy shows.
Paul started comedy as a
form of light relief from his medical school studies, he is currently a GP in
East Ham, and now looks to comedy as a form of light relief from the East End!
